Gotta go with Final Fantasy V and VI. If they got the treatement of FFIV DS I'd buy a DSXL all over again.
Definitely. An updated 5 or 6 would be great. I still think they need to release a compilation of like 1-10 or so for PS3 all on one big-ass Blu-Ray.
Chrono Trigger getting the FFIV DS treatment with updated graphics and gameplay additions would be awesome and way better than the release that was basically a port. I'd also kinda like a remake of the first LoZ depending on what was remade. It'd be kinda nice to get some graphical upgrades and actually have some story more prominent in the game itself.

i don't really see the point of remaking those old JRPGs. They would play the same, so you might as well just play the original. I think remakes should expand on what was possible at the time - more involved gameplay, huge detailed worlds, modern physics, things like that. I hate JRPGs, though.
Wonderboy.
Wonderboy.

I saw Chrono Trigger on DS the other day at the shops for like $20, is everything basically the same as the game? I was considering picking it up but don't want to if it's all just the same.

Graphically it is the same game as the PSX version (meaning it also has some anime cutscenes). It has two extra dungeons in addition to an extra ending and all the dialogue has been re-translated to be true to the original leading it to be a darker script than the 16 Bit SNES original. For $20 it's not bad, but you should be able to find it used for $15.
